The Value of Life

Once there was a very successful and famous writer. He was challenged by one of his fan that can he write a poem on a bird? He accepted the challenge happily. He spent many days thinking on it but was unable to write anything. So, he bought a bird and placed in into a cage. He sat on a chair and placed the bird in the cage in front of him and asked, “Hey little bird, tell me everything about you because I want to write a poem on you and complete my challenge. The bird said, “Of course sir why not! but tell me one thing
will you be able to express my freedom in the sky?
will you be able to express my mother’s love for me?
will you be able to express my father’s hard work that he does for our family?
will you be able to express my fear of eagles and vultures?
will you be able to express the value of my friends for me?
OR
will you be able to express my pain which I am undergoing right now, behind this concrete cage? If you are, then I am ready to tell you everything about me.” The writer was stunned and let the bird go. The biggest irony happened was that a very successful and famous writer learnt his life’s biggest lesson from a small bird. He understood that a man just to get successful ruins so many lives. But what’s the use of this success when you are not getting neither happiness nor satisfaction.
