“Principles and activities to develop and assess oral production skills”
Lifelong learning and training are key elements in the development of teaching practices and it’s essential for teachers to enhance their teaching methods and approaches. In the pursuit of the same, the French teachers of K.R. Mangalam World school, Faridabad indulged themselves into various brainstorming activities organized by Langers Association at K.R. Mangalam World school, G.K.II headed by Mrs. Anubhuti Arora, French professor at Alliance français de Delhi on ‘PRODUCTION ORALE’ on November 11, 2019 . The aim of the workshop was to brush up the theoretical notions about oral skills. It focuses on the Production orale (Speaking skills) It highlights the need to unleash and maximize the student’s engagement and boost achievement by making them express themselves in foreign language,as it gives the teacher a chance to measure the students’ understanding. The workshop enhanced teachers’ confidence and potential and provide an excellent set of guidelines to develop good speaking techniques. It enabled teachers develop an active approach to learning ,to diagnose specific difficulties inhibiting pupil learning. It also focuses on various activities to model and develop progressively more complex thinking, promoting links with others in the French language. The workshop encourages use of interesting activities in class to develop the student’s interest in the language. The teachers indulged themselves in some creative tasks as allotted by the hosts. The aim of this workshop was to enrich Teacher’s speaking skills with various creative activities which proved to be successfully accomplished
