Class VIII -A
‘ INDIA TEN YEARS HENCE’
“In India we celebrate the commonality of major differences; we are a land of belonging rather than of blood.”
A class assembly was conducted by the students of grade VIII to share this very thought and make the youth aware of their responsibility towards their country to make it great. The assembly started with a prayer by the students. The prayer was followed by pledge, thought and the news headlines.
The underlying thought of the assembly was that since India is considered an emerging superpower of the world, it must overcome the economic, social, and political problems that still plague the country.
To convey this thought, a skit was presented by the students, showing the unwanted weeds that hold down the dawn and development of the new developed and confident India. The students conveyed the message that by the next decade , India will overcome all the social issues like poverty, corruption, unequal division of income, illiteracy, etc.. To achieve the super power status by the year 2030, the youth of this country has to play a major role.
The performance was every bit exquisite and therefore bagged applauds and appreciations of all. The assembly came to its finale with the students delivering a vote of thanks to their mentors.
