WESTERN VOCAL COMPETITION
If music be the food of love, play on; Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting, the appetite may sicken, and so die. These fine lines by Shakespeare are etched in the heart and soul of every music lover. Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words, it speaks in emotions. A Western Vocal Competition was organsied by K.R. Mangalam World School Faridabad to provide a platform to express these emotions and the students from grades III-VIII gladly participated in it. The event began with the auspicious lamp lighting and felicitation of guest. This was followed by the performances of students. The audience was enthralled with the mellifluous renditions of the vocalists across the grades. Long forgotten songs jostled with the latest chartbusters as the eager participants belted out one song after another.
