Step App Workshop

The impact of information technology on education is inevitable. The continued surge of students to adopt smart devices as an integral part of their educational experience is bringing about a revolution in the learning process. Current mobile technologies in education is enhancing student engagement by creating, customizing, and sharing class content which in turn provides students with a deeper learning experience that extends beyond the classroom.The ‘gamification of learning’ is an educational approach to motivate students to learn by using video game design and game elements in learning environments. It helps in making education fun and not pedantic.
Keeping up with the same , a workshop was organized by K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K II on 21 January 2020, for the students of classes VI and VII. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Avinash Shroff, Marketing Head, PACE Academy. The aim of the workshop was to maximize enjoyment and engagement through capturing the interest of learners and inspiring them to continue learning. The resource person gave the students an insight on the importance of using STEPapp which is interactive and it automatically adapts to the requirements of children with different learning abilities. The app enables the students to learn concepts in a fun way and develop conceptual clarity. The students showed keen interest in the workshop and tried to grasp the information shared by the resource person. It was indeed an enriching experience for the students.
