On 29th August 2019, the Honorable Prime Minister of India, launched nationwide “Fit India Movement” which was aimed to encourage people to inculcate physical activity and sports in their everyday lives and daily routine. To take this mission forward, CBSE has organised the “Fit India School Week”. This movement endeavors to alter this behaviour from ‘Passive Screentime’ to ‘Active Field time’ and the aim of the objective is to develop Sports Quotient among all the students to achieve a healthy lifestyle.
The details of the winners are as follows:
Good art inspires and good design motivates one to bring out the best in them. Art which starts with an idea and culminates with an amazing product. Each house was represented by a team. It helped Ms. Asma to gauge the students’ creativity and awareness quotient. The students were enthusiastic and creative in their presentation.

“The pen is mightier than the sword
Writing is a very sensitive form of expression. It is a harmonious blending of ‘thought’ and ‘expression’. It is considered to be the most effective way of communication to express one’s idea, opinion or thoughts in general, unambiguous and impressive language in English.
Keeping this perspective in mind, an Inter- House English Essay Writing Competition was organized for the students of classes VI-VIII in December2020 on the given topic “Fitness beats pandemic”.

K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II has been breaking barriers with its unconventional methods. Keeping the annual tradition, the school organised its first virtual alumni meet on 26 December, 2020 via Zoom, giving a chance to its students for reminiscing the beautiful memories of school life and catch up with old friends. The students shared their success stories and had a great time walking down the corridors of nostalgia.
