Keeping this quote in mind, the teachers and students of K.R. Mangalam World School , G.K-II believes in enriching our brains with new and valuable information that improves our ability to think, analyse and process the world around us. The knowledge opens our mind to new perspective, ideas, beliefs, and culture. In pursuit of the same, the school organized Online Inter – House Competitions on Saturday, October 31, 2020. The Preliminary round for the live sessions was held on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
1 Book Cover Making
People have been saying for years not to judge a book by its cover but the students of K.R. Mangalam World School used medium of art to create and innovate their own book cover. The students used oil and water colours and crafted some interesting and thought-provoking designs and were excited at the thought of their designs being cover pages. Ms. Asma was the judge for the competition and the judgment was given on the basis of theme, presentation and innovation.

2. E Comic
A comic strip is a sequence of drawings, either in colour or black and white, relating a comic incident, an adventure or mystery story typically having dialogue printed in balloons. The participants used the comic strips to narrate a story or to display brief humour related to the given topic. Ms. Anjali Papneja judged on creativity, skills, neatness and conceptualisation of the topic.

3. SHLOKA GAYAN
Sanskrit shlokas give us insight into different aspects of life, beautifully composed into shlokas. An inter house ‘Shloka gayan’ competition was held for Class VI – IX to inculcate cultural values in students. The recitation of Doha, Shloka and Couplet was followed with its explanation by the contestants which made it easy to grasp and enjoy. The judges Mr. Gyandeepak and Mr. Premchand were the judges for this competition and judged the students on their rhythm and explanation of the shloka.
