Achievement is the product of aspiration, expectation and preparation. PurnayushMangal of Class IX, an avid golfer, is keen to make it big in his area of interest. The young enthusiast is leaving no stone unturned in proving his mettle. He has taken part in various tournaments both in Delhi and across India,following his passion for golf which has paved the path for him to showcase his excellence.He is on a winning spree as in the past few months he has won several accolades in playing golf. The journey of success continued ashe bagged the second position and was closest to the pin in the Lufthansa Junior Golf tour.Announced as the winner with the best score,he secured the title ofthe best player of the month in LMJGT(Unitech) ,LMJGT(Tarudhan) and Hamoni Golf tour(Tarudhan).Also, he qualified andbagged the second position in LMJGT, Malaysia and Pro-am, LMJGT, Jaypee Green. Purnayush was a winner all the way at the Delhi Golf Club. Principal,Ms. AlkaAwasthi,  wished him all the best for all his future endeavors.

Feats of an Aspiring Golfer


Great moments are born from great opportunities. Alicia Jatyan of Class 7B and Kunal Chhabra of Class 9B carved a niche for themselves in the sports arena and has proved that winning is believingin ‘Yes, I can’. Alicia had taken part in the CBSE Central Zone Judo Championship at Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka and she has come out with flying colours by securing the third position in ‘Below 45 kg’ category. Kunal Chhabra has won accolades in his dream to make it big in Roller Skating Hockey. He has proved his mettle at the Roller Skating Hockey Championship held at Jodhpur and by securing a place for himself at the National Level,Delhi State. The match which will be played at Belgaum,Karnataka,on 8 December 2017.



Simarjiv Chandhok

Simarjiv Singh Chandok , a student of class XI  has represented India and achieved the thirty seventh rank in the U-16 Open Commonwealth Chess Championship 2016, and the thirtieth rank in U-14 Championship 2014. He has completed end number of summer courses through various schools and colleges. He has done Introduction to Economics with Finance 2017, from Delhi Warwick Summer School Course and Marketing Management with International Marketing 2017, from King’s College London India Summer School Course. Apart from this, he is the recipient of the Silver medal in Div. 5 of the Delhi International Football League, 2015-16 and 2016-17. He was the CFO of proposed business venture which won the third rank in TIE Young Entrepreneurs Delhi Business Plan Competition 2015-16. The muse of action also attracted Taekwondo to him. He won the Silver medal in the Singapore Invitational Taekwondo Championship 2011and has been bestowed with the Red Stripe by The Taekwondo Association of India in 2012, the Blue belt in 2011 and the Yellow belt way back in 2008. Besides these achievements, he has been regularly participating in the Inter-School and Inter-House competitions and stolen victory from many a hands. He has also received Scholar Badges and the list is endless…..

The above accomplishments only verify for us that hard toil and sincere effort do not go waste. If one has the will to realize his dreams, then nothing can prove to be an obstacle. The winning spree surely continues for Simarjiv……….

Shivangi Mathew wins Laurels

A fulfilling future belongs to those who have strong vision and resilience. It doesn’t matter where you might be now, starting well and finishing strong is what counts. Shivangi Mathew of Class XI is an avid horse rider who has won several accolades in horse riding.

The 15 times gold medal winner of the international Dressage Development League (IDDL) , also a five time silver medal winner of the IDDL in the Equitation Advanced 1B, Equitation basic 3, Equitation basic 4, Equitation Advanced 2 and also a recipient of seven times gold medal for winning the Zonal Gold , Shivangi has also won the Grand IDDL certificate during the International Dressage Development League in 2016 in the overall IDDL International Qualifiers held in 2016 in Canada ,Estonia,Belarus , Germany and India.

Sahas Mishra of K.R. Mangalam World School, GK-II Wins Laurels

With immense pride and joy, K.R. Mangalam World School, GK-II announces that Sahas Mishra of  VI-E has secured the International Rank of 7 and Zonal Rank 1 in the National Cyber Olympiad held in the session 2016-17. He is also the recipient of cash prize of Rs 5000/- and a gold medal for the same.
