The students of class Nursery participated in an activity on recapitulation of numbers where they used the abacus kit to count and recognize the numbers.
This activity helped the children to recognize the numbers and quantify them.

India – A land of rich culture and heritage
The students of KG -C and KG D presented their Class Assembly on the topic India- Unity in Diversity on August 22, 2019.
The famous phrase ‘Kashmir se Kanyakumari’ was portrayed magnificently as the students came dressed in colourful traditional costumes of Kashmir, Punjab, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. They exhibited good oratory skills and confidence on stage.They showcased their dancing skills by performing the Roaff Dance ( Kashmir), Bhangra (Punjab), Bharatnatyam ( Tamil Nadu) and Mohiniattam (Kerala).
The pious chanting of ‘Om Shanti’ by our very own sages from the Himalayas created an atmosphere of serenity and calmness.
This splendid culmination of North and South by these budding artists was well appreciated by all.
Project Based Learning
K.R. Mangalam World School, GK-II believes that teaching young children academics and social skills means giving them plenty of opportunities to play and experiment.
Students of class Nursery participated in ‘Roll the Dice’ Activity with great zeal and enthusiasm. They learnt about different kinds of farm animals and the products we get from them.
Slate Writing
K.R. Mangalam World School, G. K-2 believes in educating its students with hands on learning experience. Keeping this in mind different letters were introduced through slate writing. This helped in developing the child’s imagination, hand and motor skill development and letter formation. The tiny tots enjoyed writing different letters with chalk on the slates.
K.R Mangalam World School, G.K -2 believes in celebrating festivals with full enthusiasm and fervour. This helps the students to experience Indian culture and tradition at its best. The students of kindergarten enjoyed a fun filled activity of making and decorating matki’s for Janmashtami, celebrating the birthday of Lord Krishna.
JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION IN NURSERY
Krishna Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, an avatar of Lord Vishnu.
Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the students of Nursery at K.R. Mangalam World School, GK II. Children made their own matkis, painted and decorated it with glitter and stickers. The children also celebrated the occasion by singing and dancing with great joy.
In K.R. Mangalam World School GK II, we focus on child centered ‘learning through playing’ and provide hands on experience that are carefully planned to ensure each child in achieving their best.
The students of class Nursery enjoyed fun filled craft activity with Letter C where they handcrafted colorful cupcakes.
K.R. Mangalam World school GK II celebrated Independence Day with great fervour and joy on Wednesday, 14 August, 2019.
The students of class Nursery participated in the Independence Day special assembly and enjoyed making special craft in the classrooms and flaunted the tricolor miniatures on their uniforms.
K.R Mangalam World School,G.K. -2 believes in the physical and mental fitness of its students helping them develop self confidence, team spirit and concentration. The kindergarten students acquired deeper knowledge about our Indian traditional and a popular game “ Kabaddi “ played in all parts of our country. Roleplay on Healthy and Junk Food
A healthy mind and a healthy body is the connection to the key for a happier life. Giving due importance to the connection, K.R. Mangalam World School GKII organized a competition on Healthy and Junk Food.
The competition was an opportunity for our young ones to bring out individual talent, explore their creativity and stage presence skills.
