Eco club students of grade 6 to 8 of K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K. II carried out plantation drive for the second time in the year. The objective of the exercise is to make some of our class rooms oxygen rich before the winter months set in. As the air in the city becomes colder and heavier with pollutants, students made a noble effort of purifying our class rooms.



K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II gives utmost importance to the safety and security of its students. In pursuit of the same, the children of the school witnessed a talk on dengue prevention titled ‘10 hafte, 10 din, 10 minute in order to spread awareness against the epidemic.

It has rightly been said that creative minds create genius.To further the same thought, the students of class III of K.R. Mangalam World School, GK-II performed a role play on -Safety and First Aid, wherein the students enacted the safety rules to be followed while performing work at various places. Further, the students also enumerated the importance of First Aid Kit .It was a wonderful learning experience for our little scientists.

The students of class VE and VF presented a special assembly on Thursday, July18, 2019. The topic of the assembly was “Incredible India.”
“A unique land of vibrant colours, breath-taking landscapes and rich history, India is unlike any other nation.”

The assembly started with the prayer, followed by news updates and chanting of Shloka’s to spread positivity and harmony. Students presented a short skit which very beautifully conveyed the message that we must travel, explore and experience our own country –India first, before venturing abroad.


It was further stressed that India is incredibly rich in culture and heritage and India’s liveliness and generosity attract a number of tourists to its vibrant culture which is an amalgamation of religions, festivals, food, art, crafts, dance, music and many other subtle things.

As rightly said “You can take an Indian out of India but you can never take India out of an Indian”


A sense of patriotism filled the air when the students melodiously sang – ‘Saare Jahan se accha, Hindustan hamara……’

The assembly concluded with Principal ma’am applauding the students for their splendid performance. The assembly ended with the National Anthem.


THURSDAY, MAY 09, 2019

The students of classes V-C and V-D presented a special assembly on Thursday, May 09, 2019. The topic of the assembly was “HOLIDAYS- TIME TO FUN & FROLIC”
The assembly emphasized on how the Summer Holidays can be a learning


opportunity for kids along with some fun n frolic.
The assembly started with an Indian Dance performance by Isha Bidhuri of Class 5D followed by the prayer and the news updates by the students of both sections. The children of 5C presented a short skit to make students understand that how to have an enjoying and enriching summer time experiences.


The children held the placards with some beautiful Summer holidays tips for the students. The message conveyed was how the students can have great bonding time with their families:

❖ Go for an early morning walk with your friends or family to enjoy the nature.
❖ Play indoor games with your family- like Chess, Guess Who, Ludo, UNO etc. Options are many and fun is unlimited.
❖ Clean your home by sorting out your stuff and this is definitely going to make your mother happy.
❖ Read and share. Every book has something to teach.
❖ You can grow small plants in flower pots and water them daily. You will have fun watching them grow.
❖ Last but not least- Drink lots of Lemon & coconut water. It will keep you hydrated.


The students of 5D then presented a song on ‘SUMMER HOLIDAYS ….By Cliff Richard’. The assembly concluded with the encouraging words by Bharti Ma’am followed by the National Anthem.

Our children are our future and it is our responsibility to teach them the importance of recycling. It is the need of the hour to shape the attitude and minds of our little ones towards being green and learning to conserve, recycle and be environment friendly. Keeping this in mind the students of K.R. Mangalam World School, GkII, were engaged in an exciting activity – “Junk to Jewel”

The students of Class IV A and IV B of K.R. Mangalam World School GK II, celebrated their morning assembly with great enthusiasm and zest. The topic was ‘ Raksha bandhan’, which comprised of a small skit depicting the story of – the reason why the festival is celebrated, along with a foot tapping dance and a melodious song.
The children were also informed about the importance of personal hygiene and various healthy food items introduced in the school canteen and were urged to have the same and not junk food.

K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K. II staged an Annual Presentation and exhibition showcasing a vibrant display of the theme ‘RANGOSTAV’ by the students of Class III portraying the importance of colours in our lives. The day was celebrated with alacrity onWednesday, September 04, 2019.

Doing something novel makes you unique. One step heading in uniqueness the school organized an Exhibition on the Project Based Learning topic ‘Colours’ in the school campus on the same day. The idea behind organizing such activity was to inculcate hands on experience among students, judge their ability in doing something new. The Exhibition area was full of models, charts, games, puzzles and enactments.

The occasion was graced by the eminent presence of honourable chief guest Shri Samrat Shankar, a world famous and renowned magician.
The presentation began on an auspicious note by invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati with the lighting of the lamp.

The audience was given a rousing welcome with a melodious song followed by the welcome address of the Principal,Dr. Sangeeta Arora. In her speech, the Principal emphasized on the importance and meaning of each colour and how these colours influence our mind and our emotions. The young enthusiasts and vivacious students of KRM rejuvenated everyone with their energizingpresentation and scintillating dance performances.

The show was a resplendent pageant of dance, drama and music. The musical element infused symphony and melody into the show and brought the entire hall to life.The vote of thanks was proposed by the Incharge.

The event closed with Grand Finale celebrations by all the participants. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervor.















To encourage students to read and love poetry, HasyaKavita Competition was held at K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II for classes VI to VIII on 9August 2019. The topic for the competition was ‘Information Technology’. Students recited humorous poems full of wit and wisdom. The facial expressions and the gestures of the participants were highly commendable. It was an entertaining competition and brought smiles on the faces on the audience.ArmaanTokas of Ruby house secured the first position, second position was bagged by Aryan Mittal of Topaz house and the third position was shared by Diya Mehta of Sapphire house and Ahana Malhotra of Topaz house.
