The students of KRM GKII celebrated Earth Day by putting up a value based and entertaining assembly. The assembly was put up by class 5 A and 5 B.

Students presented a skit depicting as to how even kids can make a difference in protecting our Mother Earth, they were successful in spreading awareness about the need for conserving the natural resources. They highlighted various methods for doing the same.

One of the students recited a beautiful poem on Earth Day. The assembly was concluded with the National Anthem.

Assembly Report for classes 6E and 6F

Morning assemblies play an important role in empowering a student. They facilitate them with the information in the most effective way. The students of classes 6E and 6F had their morning assembly on February 6, 2019.

The topic of the assembly for class 6E was “Disaster Management.” The students performed a mock drill related to the topic to make everyone aware of how the school building should be evacuated in case of a disaster like – earthquake, fire, etc. The students also gave information about H1N1 influenza (the precautions to be taken if you are affected).

For class 6F, the topic of the assembly was – “Time Management.” The students performed a skit on the importance of time. They also had a “Talk Show” on healthy and nutritious food. 

The assembly culminated with an interactive session with the principal of the school wherein she told the students about the growing HINI1 influenza and also shared mandatory dos and don’ts.

The 70th Republic Day of India was celebrated by the students of Classes VII on 25th January 2019. A special assembly was conducted  to commemorate the occasion. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity.

This was followed by melodious performance by class 3 student who played Sare Jahan de Acha on Casio. The rich culture and diversity of our country was showcased through a melodious patriotic song and Vande Mataram by class 7students which left the audience spellbound.

The Principal, Dr Sangeeta Arora, applauded the performance of the
students and urged them to do their best and always feel proud of being Indians.




A Teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart!

Morning assembly undoubtedly holds the numero uno position out of all the routine activities in a school. It aids community participation as well as hones the skills of children on account of healthy competitive spirit between different groups. Probably it’s the first platform which is provided to young minds, boosting their confidence towards public speaking and imbibing a feeling of team spirit in their nascent minds.

Keeping up with the same the students of class 10F conducted their class assembly on 04 September 2018.The topic of the assembly was ‘Teachers’ Day’.

The assembly commenced with the Morning Prayer which is believed to provide peace and serenity to our minds and souls. The students had put up mesmerizing dance performances of different Bollywood numbers. The energy of the performance was contagious which left the audience in awe of them.

The students of Class Pre Primary D Presented the Morning Assembly on the fairy tale “ The Sleeping Beauty”.

The Assembly started with the greetings in five different languages. Students came dressed in colourful costumes and enacted with zeal. They were excited to perform their dream world of fairy tale and enacted the same with confidence.

Students showcased their talent through creative expressions, actions and spectacular dancing skills in Fairy Dance and Ball Dance.

 Pre School Annual Presentation_1

The Pre School students of K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K. II staged  their Annual Presentation –“The Adventurous Eight” on Saturday, 24 February, 2018.

The little Pre Schoolers participated with great exuberance and fervour . The programmeaugured well for their overall development and instilled confidence in them.The programme was well conceived , delivered and coordinated by the faculty under the dynamic leadership of our  Principal, Ms. AlkaAwasthi who has always been a source of encouragement to all.

The Presentation began on an auspicious note with invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati followed by the lighting of the lamp.  The function was presided over by the benign presence of ShBhupesh Kumar Pandya, Actor, Writer and Director and our esteemed Academic Advisor  Dr Ashok Arora. It was followed by the Welcome address by Ms. AlkaAwasthi, Principal, K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K. II, wherein she emphasized the need to inculcate values of compassion and kindness in children to make them excellent human beings before anything else.

The story unfolded beautifully and was interspersed with adventures that the animals encountered in their arduous journey meeting Fairytale characters like Cinderella, Red Riding Hood etc. on their way.

The show was a beautiful amalgamation of dance, drama and music. The musical element infused life in the show which was capped by scintillating dance performances by our little ones.

The programme also subtlety reminded everyone to be kind and compassionate towards animals.

Ms. Sanya Gupta, our Academic coordinator   proposed the Vote of thanks.

The event closed with a Grand  Finale celebrations by all the participants. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervour.

Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.

Keeping up with the theme, the students of class 10 B conducted their assembly, on the 22 July 2016. The topic for the assembly was ‘Literacy’. The assembly commenced with the chanting of the Saraswati Vandana .



This was followed by the news updates and the thought for the day. Literacy is the foundation, the base to be successful in life. The same  was conveyed  by the students as they expressed their views on the theme. Atharv  Bidhuri’s spontaneous overflow of thoughts woven into words was well presented , as he recited a self- composed poem on ‘Literacy’ .

National AnthemThis was followed by a short skit through which the students highlighted the importance of being truly literate. Keeping up with the theme, the talented singers then presented a song titled ‘Aao Deep Jalaye Hum’. The Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi motivated the students with her encouraging words. The assembly culminated with the rendition of the National Anthem.
