The School has initiated an Exchange with Southfield Technology, Cumbria, U.K with the aim of facilitating an exchange of ideas and concern . Excellence as envisioned by the school is a continuous journey to reach for the skies. Projects on Castles in England and Forts in India and Global Warming have been undertaken through E- mails, Skype and Research.

The students of K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II paid a visit to several places in Europe including Rome, Pisa, Geneva, Paris and Brussels from 7th-17th June 2015 .The trip was an educational tour centered at the Euro Space Center in Brussels. On their first day in Rome, the students were delighted to see the historic monuments of the city. They were then taken to Pisa where they got a chance to see the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. The next day saw the visit to the beautiful city of Geneva where everyone was elated to capture the scenic beauty of the Geneva Lake. The students also visited the United Nations Center where they learnt several interesting facts about the UN and it various organs. This was followed by their transfer to Paris where they were left gaping at the magnificent structures and buildings. The metallic wonder of the world, the Eiffel Tower, left everyone awestruck. The students went on to see the Louvre Museum and the famous Mona Lisa. They also visited the UNESCO Headquarters, the Japanese Garden and the Meditation Center. On their last day in Paris, the students were taken on a full day trip to Disneyland where everyone was joyous and excited to meet their favorite childhood characters. The next day, the students were taken to the Euro Space Center near Brussels where they took part in a two-day astronaut camp. The children performed various activities like Rocket Making, Spacecraft Simulation and Moonwalk etc. with a lot of enthusiasm. On the last day, they were taken to Paris to catch their flight back to New Delhi. During the course of the whole trip, the students enjoyed themselves a lot and learnt about several new things.

TIMELINE OF CANADIAN EXCHANGE PROGRAMME:
10 Students and one teacher visited Mount Douglas School, Victoria, Canada in May 2010 to take part in the Canadian Exchange Programme. The whole Indo- Canadian exchange was inexplicably wonderful and a great learning experience for each participant. The counterparts visited the places of Cultural and Historical significance in New Delhi/NCR and Victoria/ Vancouver .

12 students and two teachers set off to Reynold’s Senior Secondary School, Victoria, Canada in May 2011 to participate in the Canadian Exchange Programme with the counterparts reciprocating in December 2011.The counterparts visited the places of Cultural and Historical significance in New Delhi/NCR and Victoria/ Vancouver .The students also played a friendly Soccer and Kho- Kho match as part of the ISA Project.

In our endeavor to provide utmost quality education to its students, our school, K.R Mangalam World School, G.K-II, organized the third cycle of Exchange programme to Reynolds Secondary School, Victoria, Canada from 5 May, 2012 to 16 May 2012 for 11 students and two teachers, Ms. Ritu Sachdeva andArti Sharma.

At Reynolds, the students attended classes with their host partners with an eclectic mix of co-curricular classes like drama, arts, sports and music.. The students were exposed to hands-on and interactive way of learning which helped in the better understanding of the subjects. Besides regular school regime, the students were also taken to places of Interests like Botanical Garden, Hile to Mt. Douglas, Vancouver, B.C Museum and the Acquarium.
A farewell was organized by the host school to bid goodbye to their counterparts. The Indian students showcased a small cultural which was greatly appreciated by one and all. The exchange program was a grand success as the students returned home with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction at having been exposed to such a plethora of new ideas and experiences.

Canadian-Exchange-Programme

TIMELINE OF AUSTRALIAN EXCHANGE PROGRAMME:

In the month of June, 2009, three students of K.R.Mangalam World School, G.K-II and one teacher set off on their exciting journey to Australia to participate in the student exchange program with Woodleigh School, Melbourne, Victoria. At Woodleigh School, the students were given their own individual time-tables with an eclectic mix of classes although they were allowed to attend other classes of their interest too. The students were exposed to a hands-on and interactive way of learning which they really enjoyed. The students were also given the chance to learn about the indigenous people of Australia – the Aborigines .The reciprocal visit was undertaken in December 2009.

In the month of June, 2010, four students of K.R.Mangalam World School, G.K-II, with one teacher visited Australia to participate in the student exchange program with Woodleigh School, Melbourne, Victoria. Apart from attending regular classes the students also visited the Melbourne Aquarium ,the Eureka Tower ,the Melbourne Museum ,Cruising through the Great Ocean Road ,12 Apostles and the beautiful Mckinzie Falls. The reciprocal visit was undertaken in December 2010 followed by sight seeing tours of the most famous , scenic and historic places of Delhi and Agra.

In the month of June, 2011, three students of K.R.Mangalam World School, G.K-II, set off on their exciting journey to Australia to participate in the school’s on-going student exchange program with Woodleigh School, Melbourne, Victoria. The students were exposed to a more hands-on and interactive way of learning which they really enjoyed. The Indian students presented a small cultural item in both the junior as well as the senior campus which was greatly appreciated by one and all. The reciprocal visit was undertaken in December 2010 followed by sight seeing tours of the most famous , scenic and historic places of Delhi and Agra.
