K.R. Mangalam World School G.K-II has been nurturing individuals who are competent to acquire leadership roles in the fast changing 21st century World. We have time and again taken initiatives to help build the agility and acumen of our budding learners and with great pride, K .R. Mangalam World School G.K-11 organized a virtual NCC Orientation Program for new Enrollment of NCC Cadets on July 11, 2020 from 11.30 am to 12 noon. The major objective of the program was to make Parents and students aware of the NCC Course, the rules and regulations of admission and the benefits of ‘A’ Certificate Course.
Ms. Anju Sen and Mr. Sandeep Chaprana, the Associate NCC Officers of K .R. Mangalam World School, GK-II briefed the students about the Rules &Regulations of NCC “A” Certificate Course and Requested the Students and Parents to understand and abide the NCC organization Rules and Norms .
Ex Cadet Saanvi Priya of Class X also came forward to motivate the students in the orientation. In her speech, she said that NCC helps in boosting confidence, courage, and discipline, individual brimming along with strength of character and leadership qualities. The Program concluded with Clarification of student’s doubts.

Sports play an integral part of K.R Mangalam World School, G.K-II where students are given every opportunity to maintain a healthy life. In pursuit of the same, the students are being given online sports sessions in Yoga, Chess, games etc in order to help them stay active during lockdown period.

Sub Junior Boys and Girls. Class 6th to 8th participated in inter KRM Football Tournament held at K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri on 7th February 2020 and bagged the 3rd position in boys and girls . In this tournament, student of Class 8C Kabeer Bhat and class Myara Arora of Class 6F were awarded the Best Player of the Tournament title.

Inter- House Basketball and Cricket Match

In this era of cut throat competition, it is of supreme importance to provide opportunities to students to meet the challenges of the future.In pursuit of inculcating the same, various Inter- House matches were organized for the senior school on 13 July 2019 at K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K.II.The Girl students of classes VI-VIII of the four houses of the school competed in an Inter- House Basketball Match against each other wherein Topaz and emerald competed against each other and Topaz emerged victorious and between Sapphire and ruby, Sapphire took over the victory.INTERHOUSE (1)

The girls stepped onto the court to set it ablaze with speed, endurance, magical footwork, dribble and much to the audience-excitement, a nail-biting finish.The match witnessed a lot of close contests with each team jumping and leaping to score baskets. It was a closely fought competition wherein each house put in their best foot forward. Lay-ups were met with intense blocks as the players sweated it out in the courts.INTERHOUSE (3)

Inter- House Cricket Match for boys of classes VI-VIII also took place on the same day. The match witnessed great batting and disciplined bowling while the fielders ran their hearts out to try and secure a win for their respective teams. All the houses played their hearts out in trying to secure glory.The tournament, after fierce competition, ended with Topaz house managing to edge out Emerald house and once again, Sapphire emerged victorious in the match between Sapphire and Ruby.
