K.G. students visit the Computer Lab
K. R. Mangalam World School, G.K. II believes
not only in theoretical knowledge but also imparting ample opportunity for practical application. With this thought in mind the students of KG classes were taken to the computer laboratory for an enriching and educative experience. It was a fun filled learning experience for them.

VISIT: THE FOOD MART- ‘BIG BAZAAR’
DAY &DATE: FRIDAY, 26 JULY, 2019

The students of Class II of K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K. II, in pursuit of their Project Base Learning Topic- Plants, were taken on an educational excursion to the ‘Big Bazaar. The objective of the visit was to create awareness about different types of plant products and their importance in our daily lives. Excitement could be seen since morning amongst the little ones, as all of them waited eagerly to board the school buses. The students were fascinated by the variety of fruits, vegetables and food items – processed, packaged,fresh and canned etc. They learnt that eating a balanced diet leads to a strong and healthy body. The trip reinforced the importance of healthy eating habits for being a healthy, strong and happy child!

NASA Visit

K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II believes that education can not be confined to the four walls of the classroom but can be explored by venturing into new places. In pursuit of the same, around 50 students and teachers are on an educational trip to NASA to explore the frontiers of space in June 2019.

The school is committed to imbibe the culture of comradeship and appreciation of diverse cultures that exists in our country by offering opportunities to interact with other schools and students by way of exchange programs.
Students of KR Mandalam World School GK II are encouraged to participate in these exchange programmes which are conducted outside the country.
As part of the cultural exchange program, a group of 12 students along with the French teacher Ms. Sandrine, Mr. Bertrand and Mr. Frederick from Lycee Ozanam visited India in the month of October 2018.
They explored the rich Indian culture, cuisine heritage staying in India. They visited places like Agra, Chandigarh and local places of Delhi. A group of 12 students and two teachers along with principal ma’am Dr. Sangeeta Arora were invited to France in the month of May 2019.

Students of the delegation were hosted by the French students and their families. This exchange was a sequel to the one week visit made by 12 French students. The 15 day program included various workshops, visits, and games, degustation of French cuisine, art dance and music. While the Indian students became the ambassadors of their country to share all the richness of their traditions, the French went out of their way to make this stay a memorable one by organizing endless activities. They ensured that their Indian friends discovered their entire region by taking them to beautiful castles, theme park, Disneyland and Eiffel tower which is considered one of the most famous monument. The delegation was welcomed by the international exchange director Mr. Frederick.

This exchange program culminated with an official partnership between The KR Mangalam World School GK II and Lycee Ozanam , France.

Class 12 visits Jaipur

Educational trips are among the most prominent of the formative years, largely because they are a welcome break in the routine for both students and teachers. While their purpose is essentially to educate, they are a bonding experience for everyone involved. Keeping this in mind,
K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K.II organized an educational tour to Jaipur on 3 March 2019 for students of class XII(19-20) for one day. The objective of the trip was to bring them close to the roots, reduce stress of everyday life and to impart knowledge. The first destination was Amber Fort. Students were mesmerized to see India’s true majestic past and to feel how the kings and rulers of India used to live. After this they headed for the famous ‘Chokhi Dhani’, a unique Village Resort that offers a blend of traditional and modern amenities in an ethnic environment. The students relished their delicious meal in pure Rajsthani style. The beauty of the resort was beguiling. Students returned back on Monday evening with plenty of memories. K.R. Mangalam World School, GK II organised a trip to the Police Station, C.R.Park for the pre school students. The students were given a warm welcome by Inspector who apprised the students of the different ranks in the police department and how they should not fear to report to them if any suspicious thing happens and how and why we should cooperate with them.

REPORT-VISIT TO ISKCON TEMPLE

The students of Pre Primary visited the Iskcon Temple which is dedicated to Lord Krishna. They did parikrama of the temple and were excited to see the paintings depicting scenes from Lord Krishna’s life. Students also chanted Hare Rama Hare Krishna with great zeal and enthusiasm. The little ones visited the Hare Ram Museum, where they were fascinated by the idols of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. Visit To The Traffic Park

DAY&DATE: Friday, 3 August,2018.

The school organized an excursion to The Traffic Park located at Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place on Friday, 3 August,2018. The students had joyful time learning about the traffic rules. An interesting interactive session was organized by the Traffic Personnel. The Traffic Park is equipped with traffic signals, road signs, small roads and road crossings and thus the children enjoyed learning about the various aspects of road safety in a play way method. They also watched a short film about the safety measures to be adopted by the citizens to keep themselves and others safe on the roads. Visit To The Traffic Park

The Humanities Students of Class XII visited the National Museum on 18 April, 2017 commemorating the Social Science Week at K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II. The students went down the bylanes of history to get an insight into the lives of our ancestors through the reminiscence of the past.
