The school is committed to imbibe the culture of comradeship and appreciation of diverse cultures that exists in our country by offering opportunities to interact with other schools and students by way of exchange programs.
Students of KR Mandalam World School GK II are encouraged to participate in these exchange programmes which are conducted outside the country.
As part of the cultural exchange program, a group of 12 students along with the French teacher Ms. Sandrine, Mr. Bertrand and Mr. Frederick from Lycee Ozanam visited India in the month of October 2018.
They explored the rich Indian culture, cuisine heritage staying in India. They visited places like Agra, Chandigarh and local places of Delhi. A group of 12 students and two teachers along with principal ma’am Dr. Sangeeta Arora were invited to France in the month of May 2019.
Students of the delegation were hosted by the French students and their families. This exchange was a sequel to the one week visit made by 12 French students. The 15 day program included various workshops, visits, and games, degustation of French cuisine, art dance and music. While the Indian students became the ambassadors of their country to share all the richness of their traditions, the French went out of their way to make this stay a memorable one by organizing endless activities. They ensured that their Indian friends discovered their entire region by taking them to beautiful castles, theme park, Disneyland and Eiffel tower which is considered one of the most famous monument. The delegation was welcomed by the international exchange director Mr. Frederick.
This exchange program culminated with an official partnership between The KR Mangalam World School GK II and Lycee Ozanam , France.
