TODDLERS & PRE PRIMARY CURRICULUM
KRM is a child centered school committed to providing quality education to its students. The school offers a balanced curriculum which is designed to match the educational needs of the children with the requirements of CBSE Examinations. A carefully planned academic syllabus ensures that the child enjoys the time spent in learning and acquires a sound understanding of concepts in mathematics languages and environmental education.
The learning process in KRM is seen as one that is both challenging and enjoyable. We believe education should foster creativity and independent thinking. The curriculum is open ended and the focus is on experimental learning.
In Pre-Primary we allow a non-formal approach to learning. Children are encouraged to explore the environment around them through projects which integrate Art, Craft, Music and Dance.
The syllabus is enriched by teacher designed worksheets and subject integrated activities. The teaching of all subjects is done using the smart boards which makes learning a joyful experience. Our pre-school curriculum encompasses the scholastic and co-scholastic development of the students.
Language and Literacy: Phonic sounds, recognition of letters, technique of blending, formulating sentences, reading and narrating simple stories all are taught.
Numeracy: Mathematical concepts such as patterning, shapes, sizes, weight, position, time and money are introduced through hands on and concrete experiences. A strong foundation in addition, subtraction and multiplication is also developed.

Dance: The fusion of art , music, exercise and movement makes our dance program special. Classes allow preschoolers to develop fine and gross motor skills while having fun physically.Yoga: The children in KRM experience yoga as a means of self-expression through poses, breathing exercise and visualization. It builds confidence and awareness in such a way that the students become aware of relaxation and tends to be more flexible.
Sports: Children’s involvement in sports develops their diverse lifelong skills in physical, cognitive and social domains. Keeping this in mind , the school offers plethora of organized and unorganized sports activities.
Intellectual Development: It is best defined as a child’s ability to think and understand his/her world. Intellectual Development is just one component in a child’s development; other areas include the ability to think, application of logical mind, experimental learning and creativity
