Hindi Diwas
“Language is the sole of mankind”
Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14 September every year to [promote and propogate the hindi language. Its importance is demonstrated everywhere by feasts, competitions and other services.
K.R Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar organised a hindi week for the pre-school, pre-primary and class-I students from 14 September 2016. Various creative and interesting activities were planned for the students which kept them engaged throughout the week such as- Hindi rhymes and stories, Hasya Kavita competition, Hindi slogan based on education, shabdavali (spellathon) etc. These activities were planned not only to enjoy but also to enhance the Hindi language among the students.
The teachers in their class conducted group discussions and encouraged them to share their views, experiences with their teachers and peers. They were given an opportunity to narrate stories as well. Throughout the week, they were given the liberty to converse in their mother tongue. Hindi, which make them proud and confident to know our national language.
The children recited their rhymes with full enthusiasm in the class. Their Hasiya kavita made every body laugh to the fullest. Their was a wide variety of rhymes which was spoken by the children. Every one thoroughly enjoyed this activity. The value of our national language was truly imparted in the souls of the little mangalities. Thus it was indeed a fruitful week.
