Aiding Aids’ Perspective
‘Prevention is better than cure’, especially when something has no cure. This message came out even more pronounced when the students of class VIII of K.R. Mangalam World School, VikasPuri, exhibited their class assembly on the topic ‘Aiding AIDS’ Perspective’.
The students took up the sensitive issue and presented it in a way to make every one aware of the various social restrictions which this disease brings with itself and showed them the path of compassion and empathy that the victims truly need.
The NukkadNatak mirrored the ostracism that the society punishes the ill-fated ones with and gave a parallel, more sensitive and a compassionate approach that should be adopted while dealing with them. The different causes for this disease were showcased excellently by the students and the audience was informed about the umpteen preventive measures. It was followed by the contemporary dance sequence which powerfully portrayed the messagefurtherand strengthened the feeling of camaraderie. The morning was made even more special when the students were felicitated by the Principal Ma’am, Ms. Priya Arora for their outstanding contribution in the MUN held at Sadhu Vasvani International School for Girls and ‘WEWIN’,Interschool game designing competition held at K.R.Mangalam World School,Gurugram.
The efforts of class VIII indeed left an impact on the minds of all who were a part of this thought provoking presentation.
