Jal Shakti Abhiyan by K.R. Mangalam World School Students
Under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan launched by the unified Ministry of Jal Shakti, K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri students carried out an intensive water conservation campaign built on citizen participation to accelerate water conservation.
A massive rally with an aim to create awareness on water conservation was organized by the NSS Volunteers, Scouts&Guidesand NCC Boys & Girls cadets of K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri on 24 Oct 2019.The rally , aimed to create awareness on saving every drop of water and its judicious use. The students generated awareness among the residential colonies in the vicinity about the problem of water wastage.The placards which were being held aloft by students focused on Water Conservation and its Preservation
Flagging off the rally, the school Principal, Ms. Priya Arora said,the rally conducted under the Jal Shakti Abhiyanaimed to spread awareness among the public about the importance of water in today’s life. She stressed on the need to educate the public about the importance of saving water for future generation.
