The children of Class I were taken out in the Sun, to get a hands-on experience in observing it. They were told the basic rule of not seeing the Sun with their naked eyes. The children were given eclipse glasses (sun goggles)to see the Sun. On wearing the glasses, they observed everythingaround them to be dark and the Sun looked like a small Orange ball. Each one of them also saw a zoomed view of the Sun through a telescope. The SUNday was indeed a FUNday for them. The discovery of the colour of the Sun, was a joy beyond boundaries.
