STUDENT ACHIEVER
Mridul Sharma of K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri is an avid reader and writer and is also passionate to explore biology. Earlier this year, he was awarded as “Best Performer” in a National level Space Science essay writing competition in association with Astronaut Memorial Foundation and Florida Institute of Technology through The Hindu Educational Series. Recently, he also attended a summer program at Stanford University for the course “Tissue Engineering” where he worked in laboratories under the guidance of a professor and cultured stem cells into cardiomyocytes. He has also written a research paper on the topic “Effects of Exercise and Sleep on Learning” under the guidance of a mentor for which he has a presentation in the 3rd National Conference On Latest Trends In Health And Physical Education to be held at University College of Medical Sciences on 20th& 21st August 2019.
The paper is a comparative study on how exercise and sleep, some of the basal but overlooked components of our life, is related to the process of learning. This paper analyzes the relationship between these variables and tries to propose an alternative approach for better learning.
