Candle,lights, lamps, home filled with the smell of delicious sweets, the warmth of family, friends and the chill of forthcoming winter. This is how Diwali is celebrated in India where people,no matter what age, ethnicity and religion overwhelmingly come together and rejoice this festival.

At K.R.Mangalam World School, Faridabad Diwali was celebrated with lots of fun and excitement.All the students participated in various activities conducted during Online and Offline sessions which was truly fun and a must for Diwali celebration.

While teachers thoroughly explained various reasons behind such a celebration to students, students enjoyed various activities like diya decoration,lantern and rangoli making, dancing, singing and various diwali crafts.

On the whole, it was a day that brought incredible pleasure among all the students and their educators.

Raas or Dandiya Raas is the traditional folk dance form of Gujarat, originated in Vrindavan by Lord Krishna.Along with Garba, it is the featured dance of Navaratri evenings in Western India.
A  day workshop on Dandiya and Garba was organized by K.R. Mangalam World school, Faridabad for the mothers of primary wing.The participants enjoyed dancing on some traditional Dandiya and Garba songs.The workshop was a great success and the one who participated got a taste of the Gujarati culture and Navratri.
