Assembly on ‘Books Are Friends’

Class VIII
The assembly was based on ‘Books Are Friends’. It delivered the message of developing the habit of reading and how we can make the books our best friends as they enrich our mind with good thoughts and knowledge. The assembly started with a prayer by the students. The prayer was followed by pledge, thought and the news headlines. The students also presented a quiz based on books and their authors and characters.
The assembly came to its final with an inspirational speech by the class teacher. The assembly came to its finale with the students delivering a vote of thanks to their mentors.
