Theme: Special Assembly on Mother’s Day
The KG Learners of K.R. Mangalam World School, Faridabad, conducted a Special Assembly on May 16,2018. The assembly started with extending a warm greeting to the teachers and audience , followed by an announcement of the theme of the day. The theme of the assembly was Mother’s Day. The program started with the Gayatri Mantra – invoking the blessings of the Almighty, followed by Thought of the Day. The highlight of the assembly was a lovely dance performance by our little ones.
Students also recited a rhyme to show how much they appreciate the small and big things their mothers do for them. Principal Ma’am appreciated the efforts invested by the students. Date:11 May 2018

Activity: Mother’s Day
Motherhood has the greatest potential influence in human life. To show love and respect to mothers, students of the Pre primary section celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm. The young enthusiastic learners welcomed their mothers with a gift and a big smile. They prepared a welcome song, rhyme and dance for their mothers. Mothers too enjoyed the program by participating in different activities (Bindi pasting, Newspaper dance and tea party). The Show ended with the photo session at the selfie booth and a goodbye song. Refreshments were served to the guests and the children.

Activity: MOTHER’S DAY
The students of class VI-B were asked to make a card as a Mother’s Day Activity for their lovely mothers as a token of all the love and care they get from them. They showed their creativity on glitter sheets using different colour sparkle pens.

Activity: MOTHER’S DAY
The students of class VII-A were asked to make a basket from handmade sheet as a Mother’s Day Activity for their lovely mothers as a token of all the love and care they get from them .They had shown their creativity in basket making.

Theme: MOTHERS’ DAY
The students of class VIII A were very exuberant when they came to know about the Mother’s Day Activity. They were brimmed with ideas and were eager to give an outlet to their creativity. They made striking cards for their lovely mothers as a token of all the love and care they get from them. Looking at their work, the saying sounded so true that, “God couldn’t be everywhere so He made Mothers.”
