III LANGUAGE FIESTA REPORT

Third Language week was organised with great enthusiasm in K.R. MANGALAM WORLD SCHOOL, FARIDABAD from 22 October 2019 to 24 October 2019 for classes V TO VIII with several motivating and inspiring activities to hone the skills of the students.
Students of grade V through their activity of Making of 3D model on French Monuments, got an opportunity to display their talents and creativity. The aim of this competition was to provide a platform to the participants to explore their creativity. It was expected from the students that they should get equipped with the knowledge of French Monuments. Participants were judged on the presentation, neatness and knowledge about the monuments.
Culinary Competition (cooking without fire) in this competition, students of grade VI participated with great enthusiasm. The competition was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame. Through this activity the students learnt the spirit of teamwork, culinary as well as presentation skills. The aim of the activity was to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest. The students were judged on the presentation, taste and hygiene.
Singing Competition in French language was organised for students of grade VII with the aim to develop the singing talent in a foreign language. The children sang the songs with lot of passion and confidence. The students were judged on their voice modulation, rhythm and confidence.
Collage making (Difference between French and Indian culture) was organised for students of grade VIII with the aim to develop their creativity and knowledge about the foreign culture. Through the exercise of collage making students learnt to express themselves through shared life experiences. They were judged on presentation, content and creativity.
