Various activities were planned for the Indian students by the host school. It was interesting to see their way of learning. Their teaching methodology was based on Audio Visual aids and it was a more practical based learning . In the Art Class, the Indian students thoroughly enjoyed making Pretzel and a Beer mug with wood. The activities conducted in the physical education class and English class made one thing very clear, accepting cultures and valuing the differences is diversity.
The Indian students visited Munich Centre, Lake Chiemsee and its castle, Skyline Park, Soccer stadium Allianz arena, BMW factory and KZ Dachau. The rides in the Skyline Park were indeed a thriller and the BMW factory was a roller- coaster for the students. The visit to KZ Dachau (the Concentration Camp) was a face to face with the terrible history of Germany’s past.
The Indo-German exchange program was undoubtedly a great learning experience for the students.
