From The Desk of The Principal
Education at K.R. Mangalam World School goes beyond the letters in the page of a textbook. Here, we inspire our students to question and learn by doing. We give them the skills, courage, optimism and integrity to pursue their own dreams. Our children represent our hopes and dreams. We hope to create an atmosphere of reverence for education where work, sports and co-curricular activities will mould our students and spur them on to be the brightest and the best.
Learning takes many forms at KRM. The challenge to be ‘the best you can be’ is supported by a holistic approach to learning. The classroom programmes are rich and engaging that allow every student access to an environment where they can participate and excel. Formative assessment through daily learning work, class participation and discussion, learning activities and peer interactions occupy a significant part of child’s learning profile.
Our excellent results in CBSE Board Examinations are a testimony to the excellence of the teaching staff which strives to create a challenging learning environment. We believe that every child is a winner and we ensure that they realize their full potential.
As the Head of the institution, I envisage learning as a natural process, value questions above answers, Creativity above fact, individuality above conformity and excellence above performance. I wish that my learners remain seekers of knowledge and motivated by curiosity and a growing sense of wonder to cultivate healthy attitude and traits in order to blossom in the air of trusted independence.
The school is a stage on which children work through the plot, rehearse their roles, learn the cues and create their ‘ideal selves’ for demonstrating their capability or greatness. It is my dream that the students of KRM will come to know themselves as “ masters of their own crafts.”
Stephen R. Covey has rightly said, “The key is in not spending time, but in investing it,” and we have done just that. I hope each one of you associated with KRM takes pride in its achievement as we move Together Towards Tomorrow to conquer new shores.
