Class Activity: Poster making Topic: Save forest and wildlife
A discussion on conservation is forests and wildlife was undertaken in the class.Then the activity of poster making was conducted in the class. The students expressed their ideas in the form of quotations,paintings,sketch etc. All the students participated and performed well.

Class XI : Life and times of the Mesopotamian Civilisation
A pictorial depiction of the life and times of the Mesopotamian Civilisation was done by the History students of Class XI, giving information on the various aspects of this ancient culture.

Class XII: Features of the Indus Valley Civilisation
With the medium of posters, the students of History from Class XII were able to depict the various aspects of the life of the people in the Indus Valley Civilisation.


COMMERCE WEEK (July 15 to July 17, 2019)

During the Commerce Week, students of class XI and XII of the commerce sections were assigned various activities. One was doing up of the class bulletin board on the topic- ‘Ancient Trade Centres of India’. The students showed their enthusiasm by actively participating in this activity. The other activity was ‘Crossword puzzles’ in which a crossword puzzle on the topic- Accounting terms and principles- was given to students. Students enjoyed solving the crossword puzzle..
For class XII, an enriching activity was planned-‘ADPRINT on Consumer Rights’. The students were given the idea of dividing themselves into groups and each group was representing one consumer print. They were given time to prepare the Adprint and present each right in the class. This helped them in making everyone around them aware about their rights as consumers. Students were very excited to perform these activities and it was indeed a good learning experience for all.
The commerce week continued with various activities with the students putting in their full efforts and expressed their interests and creativity in efficient ways.








K.R Mangalam World School, G.K-II is a part of City As Lab, a program run by the education consulting firm and think tank Reniscience Education aiming to foster a spirit of scientific curiosity and a love for research in school children.
The school Congratulates Aditya, Akshaya, Jovita, Lakshya, Meyhaa and Raima of Class XI as their paper: “Dhua” has been selected for the CaL Conference.


10 Students of K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K- II along with 2 teachers participated in the 16th Annual Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition which was held at Om Shanti Retreat Center, Gurgaon, Haryana from January 19, 2020 to January 23, 2020. 25 teams from all over Asia including teams from Iran(Aerospace Explorers Academy), UAE( Brighton College, Dubai), Thailand ( United World College), China ( Chongqing Nankai Secondary School Squad), Kolkata (Laxmipati Singhania Academy) participated and the team from K.R Mangalam World School, G.K-II bagged the first prize and the school will get chance to showcase its talent at NASA, USA.



Celebrating the legacy and heralding the future.

K. R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II mirrors the social fabric of the Indian society which recognizes and revels diversity.Keeping up with this thought the school celebrated the 71st Republic Day on Friday, 24 January, 2020. The programme commenced with the contingent marching confidently to the beats of the drum, showcasing the true spirit of leadership and the unfurling of the National Flag by the principal, Dr.Sangeeta Arora.The day marked the celebration of unity, an urge to spread harmony, a joy to humanity.The tri-coloured balloons which are a symbol of freedom carried aspirations and evoked the spirit of patriotism, leaving behind a message of hope and happiness. This was followed by the school band creating a mesmerising ambience by performing the ‘Drummer’s Call’. Highlighting the true essence of freedom Naunidh and Kuhu of class VIII expressed their views on the Constitution of India and the thoughts of PanditJawahar Lal Nehru. Keeping up the patriotic fervour,the NCC cadets of the school gave an invigorating performance by marching forward with full vigour and enthusiasm on the song titled “TakatWatan Ki Hum Se Hai, HimmatWatan Ki Humse Hai.” This was followed by amellifluous performance of the talented singers who filled the charisma in the air by the patriotic rendition ‘VandeMataram’.The function culminated with therendition of the KRM song.

The third language week was held in the 4thweek of April2019(22 April– 25 April’’19) with 100% participation from Classes V to X. Different activities were organized at each level where students garnered a lot of skill and it was a learning based fun experience for them.


Students of classes V– X participated enthusiastically in various fun based learning activities and came up with their creative talent.
Students of class V participated in I-Card making activity. They confidently introduced themselves in German. They focussed on correct pronunciation and intonation.

Class VIstudents enthusiastically participated in Role Play activity. Students dressed up as various German characters and spoke a few lines about the same.





The Center for Education in Mathematics and Computing

The CEMC has become Canada’s largest and most recognized outreach organization for promoting and creating activities and materials in mathematics and computer science. The CEMC is housed within the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. It was founded in 1995 with origins dating back to the 1960s.

Canada’s University of Waterloo, the home of one of the largest concentrations of mathematics talent on the planet. Waterloo’s Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing is a world leader in mathematics education and outreach. The CEMC’s an online Master’s degree aimed at secondary school teachers, and innovative mathematics contests that test students’ skills, creativity and communication.

Our school was chosen as one of a number of top schools in India to receive 20 registrations for the upcoming Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC), which was written in India on Thursday, November 21, 2019.

14 students participated and they received certificates and medals.
