“ Play, learn and grow together “

Students of class Nursery participated in ‘heavy and light’ activity where in they explored different items related to weight and balance.
It was a hands on activity which enabled the students to observe and compare the weight of different objects on the basis of heavy and light.

In K.R. Mangalam World School, GK II , we focus on child centered learning through play and creative activities. Traffic light activity was conducted for the students where they learnt to follow traffic signal colours and ran to reach the finish point.
It was a rich traffic rules learning experience for our young ones.

Our Nest Is The Best

K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-2 believes in facilitating various domains of mind and personality of its students. Keeping this in mind, an activity of घ से घोंसला was conducted on 25th September, 2019 for KG classes to reinforce of अक्षर घ . It is also based on Project Based Learning as it gives the students an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills through hands on experience. The Tiny Tots enjoyed making a nest with grass using paper and cotton wool. It was a fun filled learning experience for them.

Environmental conservation is the burning issue of modern times and it is the duty of individuals to realise the obligation towards the society. In keeping with the same, K.R. Mangalam World School ,GK-II, emboldened NCC Officer(ANO) Ms. Anju Sen to participate in The All India Swachhta Pakwada Cycle Rally Flagging in Ceremony conducted on 27 September 2019.
Mega Swachhta Abhayan, has been undertaken by NCC, in sync with Hon’able PM, Mr. Narendra Modi’s vision, since the last two years, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Father of the Nation. Activities related to this mission were carried out extensively by Pan India- NCC Cadets with mass participation of the public. As part of the Mega Swachhta Pakhwada, Pan India Cycle Rallies, encompassing both Inter and Intra State participants were flagged off on 08 August 2019.The cycle rally aimed to create awareness and majorly focus on plastic waste management as a part of ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa Plan’ of the Hon’ble PM. The event culminated at India Gate on 27 September 2019 in the presence of the Hon’able Rajya Raksha Mantri Sh. Shripad Nayak.

Show n Tell Activity conducted in Nursery classes is a very important and an exciting part of our curriculum, it’s a great way to work on the communication skills of the children.
This activity isn’t just about giving the children a reason to bring toys to class. Each child’s social, emotional and language skills will grow and develop from this activity as the children learn to use descriptive language practice listening skills and share their special items with others.

Our Little Scientists

K. R Mangalam World School, G.K-2 believes not only in theoretical knowledge but also imparting ample opportunity for practical application of concepts with this thought in mind the students of Kindergarten, were engaged in the science experiment of making waves in a bottle to reinforce the concept that water and oil do not mix together. The children were thrilled and excited to see waves in a bottle. It was a fun filled learning experience for them.

Keeping this in mind , an activity of य से योगा was conducted on Monday, September 16, 2019 for all sections of KG classes to reinforce the concept of अक्षर य This activity is also based on Projest Based Learning “ learning by doing”. The students enjoyed performing different asanas with joy and enthusiasm
