Class: IX – A and IX – B
Day and Date: Wednesday, July 31, 2019

The class assembly of IX A and IX B was held on JULY 31, 2019. The topic was ‘CYBER SAFETY’. The assembly began with the morning prayer followed by the thought of the day and the news headlines. A student spoke about importance of cyber safety in today’s world and how cyber bullying is affecting students. Students presented place cards for various precautions to be taken online. A melodious song was sung by students on Cyber world. A student also recited a self composed poem on how our life has drastically changed with IT and how was our life without IT. A cyber safety pledge was taken by all the students and teachers.
The assembly concluded with the national anthem.



A technological inter school event COMP ‘D’ Affairs was organised on August 08, 2019 to celebrate the new technological inventions in computers.

Dr. V.V Subrahmanyam, Director, School of Computer and Information Sciences (SOCIS), IGNOU, New Delhi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Twenty Eight schools participated with great enthusiasm in all the events.Various events for classes IV to XII were organised like Mindsweeper,

Quiz, A/V Editing, PhotoGIMP, Reiment (Fancy dress), notiFYI and Sidequest(Gaming) to name a few.

Mr. Ankush Bhatia, Design Head, Ratna Sagar Publications and Ms. Amrita De , Project head, Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd. presided over as the judges for the various events organised.

K.R Mangalam World School, G.K -2 believes in celebrating festivals with full enthusiasm and fervour. This helps the students to experience Indian culture and tradition at its best. The students of kindergarten enjoyed a fun filled activity of making and decorating matki’s for Janmashtami, celebrating the birthday of Lord Krishna.





Krishna Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, an avatar of Lord Vishnu.
Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the students of Nursery at K.R. Mangalam World School, GK II. Children made their own matkis, painted and decorated it with glitter and stickers. The children also celebrated the occasion by singing and dancing with great joy.











In K.R. Mangalam World School GK II, we focus on child centered ‘learning through playing’ and provide hands on experience that are carefully planned to ensure each child in achieving their best.
The students of class Nursery enjoyed fun filled craft activity with Letter C where they handcrafted colorful cupcakes.







K.R. Mangalam World school GK II celebrated Independence Day with great fervour and joy on Wednesday, 14 August, 2019.

The students of class Nursery participated in the Independence Day special assembly and enjoyed making special craft in the classrooms and flaunted the tricolor miniatures on their uniforms.

K.R Mangalam World School,G.K. -2 believes in the physical and mental fitness of its students helping them develop self confidence, team spirit and concentration. The kindergarten students acquired deeper knowledge about our Indian traditional and a popular game “ Kabaddi “ played in all parts of our country. The tiny tots enjoyed playing the game with zest and enthusiasm.






Roleplay on Healthy and Junk Food

A healthy mind and a healthy body is the connection to the key for a happier life. Giving due importance to the connection, K.R. Mangalam World School GKII organized a competition on Healthy and Junk Food.
The competition was an opportunity for our young ones to bring out individual talent, explore their creativity and stage presence skills.

“I don’t say everything but I paint everything”.

K. R Mangalam World School, G.K II always encourages students’ participation in competitions for their holistic development. Various Inter-House Competitions were organized on 9th August, 2019 for the students of middle school. The competitions were a fusion of talent, imagination, creativity and alertness. The Painting Competition helped to engage children in a creative exercise to identify their hopes and dreams of the future. Students of classes VI to VIII participated in the competition and displayed their artistic skills. The competition was like an extravagance for the little painters and the spectators as well as they used their brilliance of painting blended with the perceptions displayed on the painting sheet.


The chaste bond of love between a brother and a sister is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions. Raksha Bandhan or rakhi is special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding. Rakhi Making Competition was organized for the students of classes VI – VIII. The competition aimed at strengthening the bond of love and to instill the virtues of love and harmony among the students. It was truly a delight to watch the young hands of our little artisans put together intricate material and fondly fiddle for mirrors, ornaments, adhesive etc to deliver beautiful and extremely creative masterpieces. All the students participated with zeal and prepared colourful rakhis and made the event successful.
