K. R Mangalam World School, G.K II always encourages students’ participation in competitions for their holistic development. Various Inter-House Competitions were organized on 9th August, 2019 for the students of middle school. The competitions were a fusion of talent, imagination, creativity and alertness. The Painting Competition helped to engage children in a creative exercise to identify their hopes and dreams of the future. Students of classes VI to VIII participated in the competition and displayed their artistic skills. The competition was like an extravagance for the little painters and the spectators as well as they used their brilliance of painting blended with the perceptions displayed on the painting sheet.
The chaste bond of love between a brother and a sister is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions. Raksha Bandhan or rakhi is special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding. Rakhi Making Competition was organized for the students of classes VI – VIII. The competition aimed at strengthening the bond of love and to instill the virtues of love and harmony among the students. It was truly a delight to watch the young hands of our little artisans put together intricate material and fondly fiddle for mirrors, ornaments, adhesive etc to deliver beautiful and extremely creative masterpieces. All the students participated with zeal and prepared colourful rakhis and made the event successful.
