In order to inculcate reading habits among students of K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II , Class VI was told the story of The Little Mice and the Big Elephant from the Panchatantra tales and the moral of the story was discussed. The second story was a short story of Rip Van Winkle. The entire story was read to the students. Similarly, Class VII was told the story of the Blue Jackal, followed by a discussion about its moral. The first 3 chapters from the story of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn were also read.
In class VIII, the Merchant of Seri was read to the students and it’s moral was discussed. The book The Three Musketeers was started with them.
