Sub Junior Boys and Girls. Class 6th to 8th participated in inter KRM Football Tournament held at K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri on 7th February 2020 and bagged the 3rd position in boys and girls . In this tournament, student of Class 8C Kabeer Bhat and class Myara Arora of Class 6F were awarded the Best Player of the Tournament title.

Gurman Singh of class XI has secured second position in 100 m in Zonal Level Athletic Meet

Inter- House Basketball and Cricket Match

“Sports teaches you character, it teaches you to play by the rules, it teaches you to know what it feels like to win and lose-it teaches you about life.”

In this era of cut throat competition, it is of supreme importance to provide opportunities to students to meet the challenges of the future.In pursuit of inculcating the same, various Inter- House matches were organized for the senior school on 13 July 2019 at K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K.II.The Girl students of classes VI-VIII of the four houses of the school competed in an Inter- House Basketball Match against each other wherein Topaz and emerald competed against each other and Topaz emerged victorious and between Sapphire and ruby, Sapphire took over the victory.INTERHOUSE (1)

The girls stepped onto the court to set it ablaze with speed, endurance, magical footwork, dribble and much to the audience-excitement, a nail-biting finish.The match witnessed a lot of close contests with each team jumping and leaping to score baskets. It was a closely fought competition wherein each house put in their best foot forward. Lay-ups were met with intense blocks as the players sweated it out in the courts.INTERHOUSE (3)

Inter- House Cricket Match for boys of classes VI-VIII also took place on the same day. The match witnessed great batting and disciplined bowling while the fielders ran their hearts out to try and secure a win for their respective teams. All the houses played their hearts out in trying to secure glory.The tournament, after fierce competition, ended with Topaz house managing to edge out Emerald house and once again, Sapphire emerged victorious in the match between Sapphire and Ruby.



The students of K.R Mangalam World School, G.K-II have been hitting a home run by winning accolades not only in academics but also in sports. In pursuit of the same, Kunal Chhabra of Class XI participated in Barcelona World Roller Games and won the Fourth position. The school wishes Kunal luck for his future games.

Inter-House Semi Final Basketball Match

Sports fires the ardor of sportsmen to stretch their capabilities and engage in healthy competition. At K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II, sports is a regular feature in which values like camaraderie and  sportsmanship is naturally taught to budding sportsmen.

The Inter-House Semi Final  Basketball saga began on 27 April 2019 with a clear knock out where Sapphire won against Ruby and Emerald emerged victorious against Topaz.

Keep going, keep moving and never give up spirit makes the Mangalamites have an edge in all their endeavors. K. R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II celebrated its Annual Cultural splendour ‘Gati- Ek Udaan…a fusion of vigour and patriotism, celebration and euphoria, on 17 November, 2018.The occasion was graced by the benign presence of Smt. Tilotama Verma, IPS, Additional Director, Wildlife Crime Control Bureau, Ministry of Environment as the Chief Guest of the day, Ms. Preetika Sharma, a national level gymnastic coach and  co-founder of Bodsphere as the Guest of Honour, Shri Abhishek Gupta, Member Management Committee, KRM Group of Schools and Shri Ashok Arora, KRM Group of Schools.

Gati…Ek Udaan_1 The programme commenced with the guard of honour to the Chief Guest. Euphoria and ecstasy came live with the zest and prowess of the talented stars on the rendition of the musical encomium, ‘Jaya Jai Hai Bhagwati Sur Bharati’. The stage set the right tone and atmosphere with a concoction of the popular dance forms presented by the students of classes IV and V. Extending a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests, the principal, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, congratulated and encouraged the vivacious learners for putting up such a spectacular show. She exhorted that real learning and attaining excellence in any field is the result of high intention, sincere effort and intelligent execution. This was followed by an energetic yoga performance performed by the students of class V and an athletic act ‘Pomping the Pom’ wherein the tiny tots of class III showcased their adroitness and poise as they synchronized the beat of the vibrant and colourful pom poms with the rhythm of music. The fearless fighters of Class III with their strong punches and high kicks proved their grit by showcasing varied acts of self-defence. The spectacle of the Dupatta Drill and Hoopla Drill created by the students of class IV with their vibrant hues was indeed breath-taking.Gati…Ek Udaan_2Gati…Ek Udaan_3Various track events like 4x100m Relay Race, Sack Race, Lemon Race, Dress Up Race etc. were held wherein the young athletes of KRM proved their mettle and triumphed over their peers. The participation of parents in the races was an added charm to the event. This was followed by a scintillating Lezim dance performance, where the students of class V enthralled one and all. Unceasing applause engulfed the arena with the much-awaited prize distribution ceremony wherein the worthy Chief Guest, Smt Tilotama Verma addressed the gathering and bestowed the prizes to the most deserving athletes. She emphasized on the need to keep abreast with the changes as a global citizen. She further commended the efforts of students and motivated them to keep accepting challenges and feel the exhilaration of victory. ‘Fusion’ -the grand finale was a visual treat as the charismatic performers splendidly gave a visual treat with their riveting performance.
