Students, at the primary level observe and follow instructions provided to them directly , by way of a practical experience – hence they truly practice- ‘Learning by doing.’
In this regard, students of class III of K.R Mangalam World School, G.K-II began their journey of learning the BIRDS chapter by collecting feathers of various birds and learning the parts of these feathers by observing them directly. Building nests of various kinds using found, natural materials created an exciting learning by doing atmosphere among our class III students.
In class IV, animal adaptations were clearly understood and explained in the class, by making a mask of their chosen animal and describing its particular adaptations.
Class V students demonstrated lunar and solar eclipse using a torch and a ball to create a close to real picture of this natural phenomenon.
