CITATION CEREMONY AND FAREWELL FOR CLASS 12
K.R. Mangalam World School, Gurugram organized its Citation Ceremony for the outgoing batch of Class XII, 2017-18 on December 15, 2017. The program began with Havan where the students along with the parents invoked the blessings of the Lord Almighty for their forthcoming exams and their journey ahead.The programme proceeded in the school auditorium where the students and the parents of the outgoing batch were welcomed. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Ms Priya Arora.It also witnessed students sharing their experiences of being part of the KRM fraternity making everyone nostalgic & emotional at the same time.
The School Principal presented the students with mementos & citations while wishing them the very best in life. Thereafter a heartwarming speech was given by the Principal,Ms Priya Arora, with a mention of some special memories with students. The outgoing Head Girl Soumya Sethi and Head Boy Puru Pratap Singh of class XII shared their experiences, reliving the nostalgic memories and expressed gratitude to the teachers and school.
The citations were handed over by the Principal and the class teacher followed by the lighting of diya by every student around the emblem of their alma mater. A few parents also shared their experiences. They praised and thanked the school for the high standard of upbringing and the values that had been imparted into their children. The day confirmed to be evocative one which made children appreciate school years.
In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the Auditorium – the students, staff and management bid adieu to the Class XII students of 2017-2018 outgoing batch, at a splendid farewell function, AFSAANA on 16th December 2017.
The day witnessed all the senior students of the school dressed in beautiful and colorful attire and all set to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with their peer-group. The extravagant celebrations continued by the rendition of a melodious number by the Western Vocal group of class 11. The foot tapping music played by the DJ along with the variety of sumptuous food laid out by the catering department, were treats enjoyed and relished by all.
There were six students selected as Master and Ms.KRM, followed by the runner-ups for the same title. It was a day full of laughter and happiness. It surely brought a strong companionship and bonding amongst the children.KRM wishes the students a bright and triumphant prospect!
