Visit to National Science Centre (VI- VIII)
On July 19th, the classes VI to VIII grade had their school trip to the National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan, Delhi.The students started by exploring “Water – The Elixir of life”. It truly is the elixir of life! Students learnt about the importance of water, and it’s conservation methods through life-like models. Students loved the exhibit displaying ‘hydrological cycle’ commonly known as the water cycle. After learning more about water, student advanced to the “Jurassic Zone”.Back in the Jurassic Zone, students saw gigantic models of different species of dinosaurs, and learnt various facts about them. From the plant eating Apatosaurus to the ferocious T-Rex…. Each of them was just incredible. The next zone taught them more about “Ancient and Medieval Times”. From the Harappa Civilization to Samrat Ashoka’s glorious Kingdom; children enjoyed every bit of it. The replicas of the handicrafts, their tools and famous bead necklaces. Left everyone awestruck.Students also got an opportunity to get familiarize with human body through various models. Last but not the least; they went to the Fun zone designed using numerous advanced scientific techniques. This science zone kept the students engaged with different working science models based on basic concepts.Overall it was an enriching experience with a lot to take away and cherish as memories and experiences which will surely help our students in the future.
