November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. The special day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889 who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji. He was very popular amongst children for his love. November 14 marks Nehru Ji’s devotion to welfare, education and development of children and young people.
To make ita memorable day for our little ones, K.R Mangalam World School , Paschim Vihar celebrated Children’s Day virtually .The day focused on children and their enjoyment .The celebrations began with welcoming the parents and children by our Pre-primary coordinator Ms.Ramnik Kaur .Showering the little ones with voluminous love and heaps of blessings, Principal Ms Priya Arora encouraged the leaders of tomorrow to enjoy their childhood with the greatest essence of happiness and made their day indeed a special one.
Further, teachers made the day more special for their children by organizing variety of fun filled activities like magic tricks, cake cutting ceremony, hunt game and dance masti. The teachers dressed up as magician performed many tricks and illusion that made the children watch them in rapt attention and excitement. The children felt very excited, appreciated and loved throughout the celebration.
All the events of the day brought beautiful smiles on everyone’s face.
