“Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.”
Christmas is the festival of joy and giving which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. It’s a magical time and excitement reverberates in the air.
The essence of Christmas came alive in virtual classrooms at K. R. Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar when the students and teachers got together and shared the merriment. The birth of Jesus Christ was celebrated in the true spirit with great festive fervour.
Soaking in the spirit of celebration , a teacher dressed up as Santa Claus danced and filled the entire atmosphere of virtual classrooms with joy .Tiny tots dressed in their red and white attire with Santa cap on their head and excited for the fun to begin. An interactive virtual session was conducted wherein the teachers explained the importance of the festival and the students were encouraged to speak about the same. The students sang carols and danced on happy songs to add joy and gleam to the atmosphere. Further, teachers made the celebration special for their children by organizing a variety of fun filled activities like games and cake cutting ceremony. The cake cutting brought smiles to all the faces. The kids delightfully relished their Christmas cakes. Not to be left behind the mothers also participated whole heartedly in the games and bottle decoration activity. The mother and child duo decorated their bottles with great enthusiasm. The boundless happiness of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children.
The day ended on a happy note with good wishes from the teachers imbibing the true message of Christmas – love, joy and goodwill to all.
