LET’S MOVE OUT AND LEARN
(Visit to a store)
Coming out of classroom education, students of pre-school and pre-primary classes of K.R. Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar were taken to a near-by Reliance Fresh Store for a visit on 21 August, 2019. This visit was made as a reinforcement of the concept “Fruits and Vegetables”. Children observed a variety of fruits and vegetables. They touched and felt their textures too. Some exotic fruits like Avocado, kiwi and Dragon Fruit were also shown and children were excited to see them. Teachers briefed the importance of fruits and salads in regular diets. The concept of washing and peeling fruits and vegetables were also elucidated to them. The children also saw the procedure of buying at the store.
The trip was enjoyable and children came back to school with fond memories of the Reliance Fresh store.
