“It’s time to remove the darkness of ignorance and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge instead.”
Diwali means rows of lighted lamps and happiness all around . The ‘Festival of Lights’ marks the triumph of good over evil and is widely believed to mark the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya
after vanquishing the demon king Ravana.
This illuminating festival came alive at K.R. Mangalam World School,PaschimVihar on 24 October 2019 when the whole school wore a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning the corridors and the school reception in bright colours.Welcoming the festival, students unfolded their creative abilities through colourful and vibrant rangolis in the Inter House Rangoli Competition organised on the day which also added to the perfect setting of the festivity.
The students of Pre-school and Pre-primary made beautiful diyas with clay and carried out a rally holding placards to spread the message
of love, peace and joy of the festival.
The teachers sensitised the students on ill effects of the burning crackers and were urged to celebrate the festival with candles, diyas , sweets and bringing smile to other’s face by donating clothes and other gifts to needy people.
