Gandhi Jayanti is observed by the entire nation to commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi or Bapu who is an epitome of non-violence, truth and justice. To re-ignite this spirit, the pre-school and pre -primary students of K.R. Mangalam World School celebrated Bapu’s 153rd birth anniversary this year with zeal, enthusiasm and a patriotic feeling on 30th September 2022.
The students performed various activities in his remembrance such as prepration of ‘Charkha Making’ and ‘Three Wise Monkeys’ to escalate the message of becoming ‘self -reliant’ and ‘See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ respectively.
To inculcate Mahatama Gandhi’s strong leadership , simplicity and bravery , teacher explained about his life history and values through classroom discussion mode.As Mahatami Gandhi says , “Sanitation is more important than independence” , adhering to his mission of cleanliness , “Shram Daan” activity conducted in the school premises.
The day ended with lots of learning and optimism.
