The Hindi Diwas is celebrated on ‘14th September’ every year. It is a way to cherish Indian culture and pay respect to the Hindi language. It was decided by the Constitution on 14th September 1949 to make Hindi the national language of India. Hindi Diwas is celebrated in India so that we Indians understand our duty and respect towards our mother tongue Hindi.
To celebrate this important day in K.R. Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar, students of Pre-school participated in ‘Hasya kavita’ wherein they recited different hindi rhymes with expressions and voice modulation which everyone enjoyed and laughed to the fullest. Also, the students from Pre- primary made ‘do akshar vaale shabad’ by searching vyanjan in the newspaper. The kids made different words and showed their full enthusiasm during this activity.
The teacher also discussed about the importance of hindi language in the class. Celebrating Hindi Diwas is an effort to promote the Hindi language. We should all respect our mother tongue and be proud of it.
