JANAMASHTAMI
Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. The day indicated the beginning of hope in the older times, hoping that the malicious rule of Kansa would end soon.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, the festival of Janmashtami was celebrated by K. R. Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar during their virtual classes. The students were made aware about Indian tradition, custom and culture by conducting Mukut making and Matki decoration activities. Children were explained why Janamashtami is celebrated and the story behind it was also narrated by the teachers in their virtual classes.
The festival conveyed the strong message “Victory of good over evil” and whenever there will be dominance of malevolence ‘He’ will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good.
The students enjoyed the day as interesting activities were planned for them.
