my dream activity
As Martin Luther King Jr. shared his dream of a “united and peaceful society” to the world it shows that dreaming is not restricted to any age, colour, background etc. And like an adult, even children also have dreams and hopes for the future.
Having the same thought, K.R. Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar organized “My Dream Activity” on 29 September 2020 for the students of KG during their online class. This activity was organized to show the little ones that one day, they too can see their goal materialized. While the dreams may change over time, in the future one can look with a smile and see just how our younger self envisioned the future.
In this activity, the teachers encouraged the students to share their dreams among each other during circle time and surprisingly they shared dreams like becoming an astronaut, pilot , doctor, veterinarian and most of to cure the current pandemic. After this, a craft activity was conducted wherein they even wrote the same dream in the clouds cutouts .This activity has boosted creativity, critical thinking and motor skills as they wrote their dream themselves in the cutouts and assembled them in a big cloud.
