Psychomotor activities help children consolidate their sensory,perceptive motor and social skills,stimulating them to find their bearings and make choices which are at times innovative.
The little mangalites of Nursery and KG showed their enthusiasm in running races like ‘picking up an object from the basket’ and ‘Hurdle race’ . The activities planned were motivating, playful and creative.
The objective was to encourage the amazing development skills which were disguised in the fun game like hand-eye coordination reflex skills, foundational movement pattern like picking up an object, holding it tight to prevent it from falling and race from one end to another.
It also encouraged physical abilities like balance, agility, and coordination among children.
