“Stories restore imagination and instill hope again and again”

Storytelling is a dynamic and creative approach to learning. It is an art that has mental, social and educational benefits on children. Since children are great fan of stories and love listening to them, K.R Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar organised a story session for the little mangalites of Pre-school and Pre-primary. The session was indeed joyful and distinct engrossing with the message of ‘Honesty is the best policy’. The teachers used effective body language, props, voice modulation which  made our tiny tots wiggle , curious and also innate listeners. The stories also helped to teach our students important values in life :one must be kind and friendly to others, always be truthful and much more. Since the story telling sessions leave a deep impact and assist in instilling good values in our tiny tots, our school has made such sessions an integral part of our curriculum. These session include verbal presentations that assist in developing great oral communication skills and also their listening skills. These  story telling sessions are always looked upon by our little kids .
