VIRTUAL DAY OUT
The most valuable and most artistic materials in the history of man are treasured up in India” Mark Twain.
Nothing better than seeing a huge smile spread over our little ones’ face, and to make sure the smile stays for a little while it is best to provide an opportunity to them to explore and learn in an informal environment.
A virtual tour ‘Delhi Darshan’ was organized on 19 August 2020 for the students of K. R Mangalam World School , Paschim Vihar .Children were bubbling with excitement as they commenced their journey of learning about some of the most important tourist sites of Delhi reflecting India’s valuable heritage. The teachers explained about each place through a Power Point Presentation and facts related to them.
All the students were happy and curious to know about the magnificent Rashtrapati Bhawan, one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture The Red Fort, the spectacular India gate, eternal Amar Jawaan Jyoti and many other such monuments of our Indian cultural heritage. The spectacular charm of the monuments and the history behind their creation intrigued the little ones.
The teachers also asked the students to show a picture or poster of the place they wish to visit. Many of them excitedly showed the picture and told the name of
the place they want to visit and know more about.
The tour helped them to broaden their perspective and gave them an engaging educational experience.
Overall, it was a knowledgeable and fun experience for the students.
