World Elephant Day is celebrated worldwide on 12 August every year to raise awareness about the critical threats elephants are facing and to support solutions that will help ensure their survival. To honour the day, we at K.R. Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar conducted fun and indulging activities for the students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary like elephant puppet making and poster making respectively . The students also pledged along with the teachers to support a world that protects elephants, wildlife and their habitat. The celebration not only developed sensitivity towards wildlife conservation but also helped in spreading awareness about the much needed protection and preservation of the elephants in the wild.
