YELLOW TIP PRINTING
ART OF LITTLE FINGERS
Apart from the usual drawing and colouring, playing with colours can be more joyful experience for the pre-school children. This specific play allows them to have space for creativity and thereby paving their way to create unique work of art with their own imagination.
To build the colour recognition for yellow and to provide an opportunity to explore children’s’ sense of touch with the colours ,Tip Printing activity was planned for the little artists of nursery classesby their teachers of K.R. Mangalam world school, Paschim Vihar on 20 May 2020 in their virtual classes. Despite being at their homes in this lockdown, children came dressed up in yellow colour attires and they vigorously participated in this activity. The image of the sun was showed to the children and they were briefed about its colour. They were instructed to dip their finger in the yellow colour and give the print in the picture. It helped them to improve their eye-hand
co-ordination, muscle control and build their self confidence.
To increase the identity of the yellow colour among the kids, various yellow coloured objects were also showed to them.
It was a wonderful experience for their parents and the teachers seeing their tiny-tots busy in completing their task and having too much fun.
