KRM- FRENCH EXCHANGE PROGRAM 2017-18

Today, our French Delegates were introduced to Indian dance form. They were taught basic dance steps by our Indian Dance teacher. Next was Yoga. It relaxed their mind and soul. Our Delegates felt rejuvenated after Yoga session. A debate competition was held in the multipurpose Hall. All the participants presented their perspectives. The debate was presided by an eminent university teacher, honorable Principal Mam and teachers. The winners were awarded certificates. A session of Indian cuisine cooking and Indian painting – Madhubani was organized. Then, the prepared Indian cuisine was enjoyed by our Delegates. By afternoon, French Students and teachers along with Indian teachers and students left the school premises and visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. It is the holy shrine of Sikhs. It has a holy pool of water also known as Sarovar. The sacred water from this sarovar is known to relieve a person from physical ailments. Then, they visited Janpath also known as People’s path. The market has a long line of handicraft shops. It is a heaven for budget travellers. Everyone later visited India Gate. It stands as a memorial to martyred Indian soldiers. Enroute they even saw the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament of India. Finally, they reached back to school, were picked up by their respective host families and relished their dinner with them.
