There is no denying the fact that the human race is going through a critical time at present. The COVID-19 pandemic has posed a threat to humankind that can hardly be compared with any other epidemic outbreaks of the past. The one that resembles the fatality of this pandemic took place nearly 100 years ago, and it also claimed millions of lives at that time.

It was the Spanish Flu that persisted for three years and carried out its devastation in three consecutive waves making millions to succumb to death. However, as far as the progress of science and medicine is concerned, 100 years have changed a lot in the medical front. We now have the best of the vaccines and drugs protecting us from the deadly microbes.

However, the composition of mutated COVID-19 RNA is making the process of treatment more difficult for the physicians and the virologists. They are struggling to comprehend the nature of the virus and how it contaminates human bodies.

As we all know, every virus needs a body to grow and replicate; for COVID-19, the human body is the shelter for replication. Researchers have already confirmed that COVID-19 is a highly contagious virus that is capable of surviving on surfaces for hours and gets transmitted from one body to another easily through droplet contamination.

However, if certain standards of food hygiene can be maintained, the extent of spread can surely be checked.

Although CDC and FDA have not yet confirmed that COVID-19 can be transmitted through fruits and veggies, concerns are looming large. Hence, it would be best to maintain food hygiene to ensure that every avenue of transmission gets choked to let the virus cease to exist. In this article today, we, at K.R. WHO has already published a clear guideline regarding how we all should wash our hands to keep them free from viruses, and we all must abide by the norms carefully.

Eat your meat only if it is thoroughly cooked

Scientists have already alarmed everyone about the dangers of eating half-cooked meat. Make sure that you are serving thoroughly cooked meat for lunch or for dinner to make sure that the piece of meat does not become the source of contamination.

Eat immunity-boosting fruits and veggies

Since vaccines and medicines are not available for COVID-19 as of now, it would be best to rely on your immunity system and strengthen it. Try to eat fruits and vegetables rich in nutrients like iron, zinc, Vitamin C, etc. which add to the immune system of the body.
